Ade is a registered physiotherapist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is also a member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapist (CSP). Ade graduated in 2007 from University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with distinctions in Manual therapy and orthopedics in 2007.

Background

With over 17 years of clinical experience, the majority of which has been gained within the NHS, Ade has developed extensive expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. In 2018, he progressed to the role of Band 8a Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner. He later moved to Canada, where he worked as a Lead Physiotherapist in the Emergency and Orthopaedic Unit of a regional hospital in British Columbia. Ade returned to the UK in 2024 and currently practises at Ashcroft Physiotherapy Clinic and Northside Clinic in Ashford. He works as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and MSK pathway triage clinician, collaborating closely with GPs and orthopaedic consultants to deliver integrated patient care.

Professional Skills

Based in Dartford, Ade is passionate about supporting his local community by providing evidence-based, patient-centred physiotherapy. He has extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of spinal and peripheral joint conditions, including shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle injuries. His approach focuses on individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, combining graded therapeutic exercise, taping, and hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, myofascial release, and joint mobilisation, all within a biopsychosocial framework to optimise outcomes.

Personal

Outside of his professional life, Ade enjoys spending time with his family and is an enthusiastic cyclist. He has completed long-distance rides across British Columbia and Ontario and is currently preparing for a London to Brighton cycling challenge.
